Finally got to grips with an iPad. What an attractively non-standard thing it is. How unpredictable is the thing known as Safari Mobile, how ideosyncratic, how unexpectedly feature-free the browsing experience is - and how much work it will generate in order to get existing sites to work. No file upload, no Flash, no Rich Text, no drag-and-drop. Will wonders never cease?

Finally out and about and working again (today!). Not just an infection but open heart surgery to mend a damaged Mitral valve. Impressive scar and a lesson well-learned: working full time eight days a week is not good for the heart.
